Metal framed dentures are stronger than plastic, it can be made a lot thinner and smaller, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the Rolls Royce of dentures. Because of the thinness of the metal frame, most patients say it is less bulky than the acrylic ones. The Metal one is slightly higher in price than plastic as manufacturing is more intricate and labor intensive.
